Location:

The Pritzwalker Hainholz is a forested area of approximately 250 hectares. The area is traversed by the Dömnitz stream and is enchanting with its diverse tree population. Numerous trails invite you to hike, run, bike, or simply enjoy being in the forest. In early 2024, we opened our academy location here. Located on the northeastern edge of the city as the “green lung,” this place offers a true oasis of peace and relaxation. With the sounds of birds in the background, the gentle rustling of the wind, and a wealth of greenery, the forest is the perfect place to unwind and recharge.

The location of the forest school in the middle of Pritzwalker Hainholz also provides access to an extensive local recreational area, including a forest swimming pool, a park of annual trees, a natural history museum, themed forest walking routes, and a petting zoo. Additionally, there is a hotel and a parking area for campers.

Accommodation Options:

– In rustic wooden huts on the grounds

– In pointed huts on the grounds (overnight stay with your own sleeping bag)

– In a hammock outdoors (own hammock required)

– On the camper parking site Hainholz across the street

– Alternatively, you can stay at the Forest Hotel Hainholz across the street, which must be booked separately.

Prices:

• €60.00 per person/day in a double hut with full board and shared bathroom
• €80.00 per person/day for single occupancy in a double hut with full board and shared bathroom
• €45.00 per person/day for overnight stay in a pointed hut with full board and shared bathroom
• Day rate without overnight stay: €25.00 per person/day

Eco-friendly Travel by Train:

Travel to Pritzwalk-Hainholz Station, then a 10-minute walk (800 m) to the forest school.

Travel by Car:

The forest school is located on the edge of the Pritzwalk city forest. The facility is conveniently situated on the B 103, north of the city of Pritzwalk.
