Academy Huts Nature Camp (Sweden)

Secluded and only accessible via a gravel road, this rustic cabin (Stuga) by Lake Stölletsjön in the Fänstjärnsskogen Nature Reserve offers a unique retreat. The nature reserve is a hidden gem in central Sweden, Värmland, characterized by endless wilderness with forests and lakes.

This charming and simply furnished cabin provides the basis for unforgettable nature experiences and the opportunity to nurture the innate human connection to nature. Here, you can become one with nature and live as our ancestors did. The clear water comes from the lake, cooking is done on a wood stove or over an open fire. There is no electricity, but a small solar panel is available to charge power banks and devices on sunny days. The only sources of light are battery-powered lamps and candles. The toilet is a simple outhouse with a composting toilet located outside the cabin. For showering and washing, an outdoor solar shower can be used.

Cabin No. 1 offers space for 2-3 sleeping places as well as a living, dining, and cooking area. Cabin No. 2 provides living and sleeping accommodations for 2-3 people. Both cabins have enough space to accommodate an extra child’s bed if needed.

You can gather berries, mushrooms, and everything nature has to offer. With a bit of luck, you might encounter one of the local wild animals in the vast forests. The lake Stölletsjön is just a few meters away, where a yellow paddleboat is available for use. Fishing is allowed in the lakes with the appropriate permit (available online).

Price:

€40 per person/day in a double room cabin or tent with full board.

The training trip can only be booked together with accommodation and meals. Booking is exclusively through us. Unless otherwise stated, travel arrangements and costs are the responsibility of the participant.

We cannot make a binding commitment for a specific room, but we can confirm the booked category, such as single or double room.
