Shortened training for International Academy for natural health & forest bathing-certified Forest Bathing Course Leaders for graduates of comparable institutions and/or collaborations with other industry sectors.
This training is designed for professional providers of forest bathing who have completed their training at a different institute and would like to benefit from the advantages of training at IAFNHFB. In just three days, you will learn the practical and theoretical fundamentals of the FBA concept for training Forest Bathing Course Leaders – Mindfulness in Nature. Extended stays in the forest, the professional and social skills of the course leader are integral parts of this compact training. Upon completion, you will receive the Course Leader Certificate from IAFNHFB.
Trainings provided by the International Academy for natural health & forest bathing (IAFNHFB) are quality management certified by the Quality Seal Association for Continuing Education.

CONTENTS
In this shortened 3-day upgrade training, you will learn about the history and roots of forest bathing, the effects of the forest atmosphere on the body, and much more. You’ll also cover nature conservation during forest bathing, identifying target groups, marketing strategies, course leader profiles, competencies, and marketing.
PROCESS
The 3-day compact seminar (upgrade) is conducted full-time, including homework. Practical examination is conducted within the intensive days, including presentations and teaching demonstrations. Following the intensive days, participants will work on their project assignment and self-study, with guidance from us.

Additionally, they have the option to participate in our annual network meetings, where we exchange course leader experiences, discuss nature topics, address current issues, and refresh knowledge.
OBJECTIVES
Forest Bathing Course Leaders, with the permission of the forest owner, conduct forest bathing walks and seminars. They impart comprehensive knowledge about forest bathing and the forest ecosystem, lead perception and mindfulness exercises, and support participants in stress management, among other things. Many people have forgotten how to enjoy the forest with all their senses. As a Forest Bathing Course Leader, you train participants to perceive the forest’s full potential, which has a proven positive impact on people’s immune, hormone, and nervous systems. As a Forest Bathing Course Leader, you may conduct courses or individual events in companies, rehabilitation centers, tourism associations, adult education centers, hotels, forestry offices, schools, etc.
This upgrade module is a perfect complement for forest health trainers, forest bathing course leaders trained by other institutions, forest bathing masters, or nature coaches who wish to be included in our network. To ensure all network members are on the same page, we offer interested individuals a shortened 3-day training (70 teaching units), where we teach our approach to forest bathing. At the conclusion of the upgrade module, a practical exam must be completed, along with proof of self-study. Additionally, a project/thesis must be written if it was not included in the previous training. Upon completion, graduates receive the “Forest Bathing Course Leader” certificate, enabling them to complete further advanced modules offered by IAFNHFB and register in the network.
Theory and practice are aligned with the Forest Bathing Course Leader intensive training.
