GOALS

Forest bathing instructors, with permission from the forest owner, offer forest bathing experiences and seminars. They provide information about forest bathing, lead perception and mindfulness exercises, and support participants in stress management, among other activities. Many people have forgotten how to enjoy the forest with all their senses. As a forest bathing instructor, you train your participants’ perception to fully utilize the potential that this ecosystem holds. The ease of forest bathing has a proven positive impact on the immune, hormone, and nervous systems of people.

FIELDS OF ACTIVITY

As a forest bathing instructor, you lead courses or individual events in companies, rehabilitation centers, tourism associations, adult education centers, hotels, forestry offices, etc. Especially relaxation educators, stress management trainers, naturopaths, meditation instructors, environmental educators, and nature guides benefit from this training to expand their professional competence.

CONCEPT

Forest experts become forest health experts. Forest education has been combining environmental education, movement pedagogy, social learning, and education for sustainable development for many years. The aim of forest educational events is to impart specialist knowledge on the topic of the forest and to contribute to the targeted promotion of skills in participating children, adolescents, and adults, in order to train responsible handling of natural resources and fellow human beings.

CERTIFICATION

You will receive the Forest Bathing Instructor certificate from IANHFB after submission and discussion of the project work and self-study.

Trainings provided by the International Academy for Natural Health & Forest Bathing (IANHFB) are quality management certified by the Seal of Quality Association for Further Education.
