A forest bath with a dog fosters a relationship-building and socializing interaction for a natural balance of leading and following in the natural environment. The inter-species recognition of the counterpart is trained.

The positive effects of staying in the forest are experienced, leading the human-dog team to a more conscious, deeper, and relaxed togetherness.

The human learns to take stress and responsibility away from the dog through calm and relaxed leading. Shared experiences strengthen cohesion and connection. Perception, mindfulness, and relationship exercises enable improved understanding of body language in the “human and dog” team.
